Well, I've washed dishes, washed clothes, ironed clothes, and I should really clean up the rest of the house too. Have I made it known to all who read my blog, how proud I am of my husband. I have watched him becoming what will be a great father, and a more fabulous husband than I thought was possible. He is so excited about our lil man! Anyway, I am home alone, as I wait for him to get in from his second job, which will be at about 3 am. I am finding it harder and harder to stay awake and wait on him these days, hopefully tonight I can hang in there.
So mama received a load of clothes for Chandler today from a friend of hers at work. She has also purchased some things at a yard sale, and I can't wait to see them. She is so excited, her and Daddy both, this being their first grandbaby. :-)
I get to see Mama and Daddy Thursday. I am excited about that, I feel like I hardly ever get to see any of my family anymore, now that Stephen is working weekends. This weekend though, I am going home alone for the Praise Service Tonnye and Shane have for Thanksgiving every year. It is a lot of fun, and very good soups, and appetizers. YUMMY!! Not only do I get to enjoy that, but I get to spend Friday with Tonnye! It has been awhile since we've spent the day cooking and stuff. Then I come back to Durham on Sunday morning. We are heading back there Tuesday evening, Stephen, and dogs in tow this time for Thanksgiving. Tonnye and I always try to watch the Macy's parade, and do our Christmas cards, while waiting on the tryptophan to get done! It is a long time tradition, that we take advantage of whenever we can. :-)
I'm sure at some point in all this traveling down I'll get to see my brother too. He is really excited about Chandler, he's ready for a fishin buddy.
I say all that to say that one of the things I am most thankful for is a wonderful family, who even when I complain, or fuss, or am hormonal love me anyway. I can't tell you how blessed I am to have all of them in my life. They are by far, the best family I know. Although I used to envy my friends and the relationship they had with their parents when I was young, I am much wiser now. I realize that things are not always what they seem, and that no matter what your mama and daddy, and your siblings love you more than you can ever know, except you can because you love them that much back. I love you all, and Stephen you are my man, and I am thankful and proud of you!! :-)

I love you, too, Sis, very much!! I enjoyed our day together and look forward to Thursday -- parade, cards, and tryptophan. . . . .
